When Kim Rose looked at an old farm house nestled away on Main Street in Brownsburg, Indiana, two words came to mind: restoration and beauty. Restoration meant hard work, and a lot of it, but she genuinely enjoys this kind of “work.” She found it fulfilling to mend the soul of this old home and restore it to its original splendor.
Rose restored the original stained glass dining room windows and hung them in the dining area in an effort to capture the original charm of the home. A glass pass-through (matching the glass of existing internal French doors), tile backsplash behind the cook top and solid surfaces (Corian) added to incredible improvements in the kitchen area.
Upstairs, new bamboo floors in the newly created office also helped improve the functionality of the house.
Now Rose hopes to continue to bring new life to the house by hosting happy and memorable events. And so continues the story of the Tailored Rose. Contact us to learn more or to host your next event at kim@tailoredrose.com..
